Where Do I Park If I Come to Elmwood?

Parking in the Elmwood Village Shopping and Entertainment District may not be as tough as you think. There are 2,600 parking spots along Elmwood Avenue and will get you within a block or two of where you want to shop or dine. The following is a list of public parking lots available to you. Look for the white parking signs with a green P and arrow to point you in the right direction.

Southwest Corner of Forest Avenue and Elmwood Avenue- Just off Elmwood Avenue on Forest Avenue is a public parking lot for about 30 cars. The parking lot is right next to Plate-Oh Restaurant.

Southwest Corner of West Utica Street and Elmwood Avenue- Just off Elmwood Avenue is a public parking lot for 30 cars. The parking lot is located right behind Le Metro Restaurant.

On the east side of Elmwood between West Utica and Hodge Avenue is a public parking garage. The entrance to the parking garage is between Pier 1 Imports and Aurum Jewelers right off Elmwood Avenue. This is a shared parking garage with Women and Children's Hospital.

Located on Bryant Street just off Elmwood Avenue is a public parking lot. The lot is next to Just Pasta and EZ Graphics.

Located on Allen Street off Elmwood Avenue is a public parking lot between Jim's Steakout and Rust Belt Books.

As well as public parking lots, you will find many restaurants and shops that have parking lots located next to or just behind them.

There are numerous on street metered and non-metered parking spots as well as parking just off Elmwood on the side streets.

While parking may seem light a challenge, it really is just a perception problem. Think about parking at a local mall and the actual distance you must walk from your car to just the entry to the mall.
